Police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman accused of breaking into a Newark business.
The burglary happened around 11:15 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 1200 block of Old Coochs Bridge Road, according to Lt. Andrew Rubin, a spokesman for the Newark Police Department.
A man and a woman forced their way into the business and stole undisclosed items, Rubin said.
Surveillance footage and witness statements helped detectives identify one of the suspects as Kristy Jones, 40, of Townsend. Police obtained a warrant charging her with third-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy, theft and criminal mischief.
No description of the male suspect was released.
Anyone with information about Jones’ whereabouts should contact Det. William Anderson at 302-366-7100, ext. 3469, or email@example.com.
