While parents are heading to office supply stores with their kids to get them ready to head back to school, some local teachers are turning to internet crowdfunding to meet their students’ needs for the next academic year.

Scrolling through Donors Choose, a website geared toward teachers who require funding to purchase classroom items, shows teachers from all over the Christina School District are seeking support to purchase items for their classrooms.
