The Pomeroy Trail was awash in Eagles green Sunday morning as Birds' fans burned off some calories before heading to Super Bowl parties. The annual Touchdown 5K drew nearly 250 runners while raising money for the Friends of Fusion Foundation and collecting canned goods for the Food Bank of Delaware. Fusion Racing has held the race on Super Bowl weekend for the past few years, but this year's event took on extra excitement due to the Eagles' appearance in the big game. Most runners wore Eagles jerseys and T-shirts, though several other teams were also represented, including at least one brave soul wearing Kansas City Chiefs gear.
