Someone shot at an occupied car outside a grocery store in Brookside early Sunday, police said.

The incident happened just after midnight at the ShopRite in Chestnut Hill Plaza, according to Cpl. Jason Hatchell, a spokesman for Delaware State Police.

The victims – a 37-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy – were inside their car when another vehicle drove toward them and someone inside began shooting.

No one was injured.

The shooter’s car, described as a light-colored sedan, was last seen heading east on Chestnut Hill Road.

Detectives found one shell casing at the scene, Hatchell said.
