City hall lot

The city of Newark is adding spaces to the visitor’s lot at city hall.

Parking at Newark’s city hall may get a bit easier thanks to a project to expand the visitor’s parking lot.

The work began earlier this month and is expected to be complete sometime next week.

Only six spaces are being added, but officials hope the project will make it easier for visitors to find a space in lot, which often gets crowded, especially on days when Alderman’s Court is in session.

How about cutting the city staff from 400 to 200.

They should make it easier to get there by bike instead of encouraging driving. Adding parking and more roads only increases congestion and parking woes. You don't lose weight by buying bigger pants!
