Delaware officials on Monday reported 199 more coronavirus cases and seven more deaths.
The death toll now stands at 297.
The deceased have ranged in age from 21 to 103 years old. Of those who have died, 155 were women and 142 were men. A total of 130 were from New Castle County, 52 were from Kent County, 114 were from Sussex County, and one individual’s county of residence is unknown at this time.
Of the 7,869 confirmed cases, 2,738 are in New Castle County, 1,219 are in Kent County, and 3,861 are in Sussex County. There are also 51 cases for which the county of residence is unknown.
According to officials, 240 patients are hospitalized and 39 are critically ill.
Meanwhile, 67 more people have fully recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,545.
More than 34,500 people have tested negative.
