The 2015 John J. Adams Memorial Scholarship has been presented to Allison Delaney, a graduating senior from Newark High School. She received $500.

Delaney is ranked 11th in her class with a GPA of 4.252. She is an AP student of history, government and English. She is a purpose-driven student known for her determination and optimism, and will continue her studies at a four-year college in the fall.

John J. Adams was a 1975 graduate of Newark High School who went on to graduate from the University of Delaware and Emory University School of Law. His passion for history and the arts lives on through this memorial scholarship.
