A Clayton man has been arrested in connection with a murder in May.
In the early morning hours on Friday, September 17, Wilmington detectives executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Alton Avenue, Clayton and arrested Kevin Rasin, 22, of the same address on charges of Murder 1st and related weapons charges.
This incident occurred on May 3 in the 800 block of north Adams Street. The victim, Jose Charriez,25, was a passenger in a vehicle when he was shot and killed.
In their investigation, detectives were able to develop witnesses and eventually identify Rasin through photo lineups. Detectives are asking that anyone with any additional information contact Detective Thomas Curley at 302-576-3625.
Rasin was arraigned at J.P. Court #20 and committed to Howard Young Correctional Center. There is no bail on the Murder charge and bail on the weapons charges was set at $ 40,000 secured.
