UD students can demonstrate their love and artistic talents at special event
Students are encouraged to flex their artistic muscles and show their love for the University of Delaware this Valentine's Day at a "Make and Take: Hearts and Crafts" event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Trabant University Center.
The free activity is hosted by University Student Centers, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Student Alumni Ambassadors.
Students will have the opportunity to make their own build-a-bear and create UD-inspired Valentines with various and sundry University of Delaware materials while relaxing with friends. Everything needed to create the "hearts and crafts" will be supplied.
This event is the third of the "Make and Take" series, which provides a fun, stress-free activity allowing students to show their UD spirit and create art for their homes.
The Office of Alumni Relations is the chief liaison between the University and the worldwide alumni body of more than 151,000 living alumni represented by the UD Alumni Association. Alumni Relations coordinates major events such as Alumni Weekend, Homecoming and prestigious awards. The office also manages all volunteers and events for the regional alumni clubs across the country and is charged with creating new and exciting programs while maintaining current traditions.
